Hey everyone! Wanted to let you all know that the early access version of 128x beta (2.0.1a) is out now for Emerald Tier and up! Emerald and above get early access to all texture pack builds and betas, but I still want to share with everyone what has been added and changed! This will be available down the road for Gold and up!

It was brought to my attention by a couple people that there were some mobs that had some odd issues causing them to be completely white. Figured out that happens whenever the mobs eye textures (if separate from the main) are at a different resolution it just breaks the mob. This has been correct, among some other tweaks

Hey guys! I am super excited to release the first beta for Pixel Redux! This pack is my first departure into something a bit more realistic, but I did not want to go overboard. I really hope you guys enjoy using this and look forward to future updates!

In this beta there are over 60 block textures, among those are some tweaked textures from the Alpha/Demo after getting a lot of feedback.

It's my birthday today and I realized something:
I got enough time to bring some packs to 1.20.5, but not all of them. So, I've decided that since I won't be able to bring all my releases to 1.20.5 in time anyway, I'll be working towards getting them all ready for 1.21 instead, which is coming in about 2 weeks from now.
What does this mean?
- You'd get all the features I announced (even the ones previously delayed), plus all the secret features I have yet to show (designed specifically for 1.21) as soon as possible after 1.21's release.
- I'd get more time making sure the Update Series is the best it can be before it's out there.
- It does mean you'd have to wait for it a bit longer, but late is just a little while.
  I could try to force it out the door, but that's not who I wanted to be, and I wouldn't want to use anything coming from someone like that anyway.
Thank you for reading all this. I'll head back to work now. More news soon!

I've noticed that this site has a lot of monetized and undownloadable maps lately, and it's really annoying. It feels like PMC is becoming more like a platform for Patreon. This trend is ruining the immersive experience of PMC, It's starting to feel more like a marketplace for Bedrock instead of a creative community by PMC standards. I'm getting burnt out trying to create and upload content on this site.

Oh I know, just licensing filters could be helpful for a number of reasons including that. Plus free and open source are two different things, like someone may freely distribute something, but have rules about it's usage in videos, modpacks or remixing.

One remedy would be to require a setting a licence of some sort, so the average user could just leave theIr stuff as Creative Commons or GPL, while those trying to sell would have to specify the proprietary licence. Then you could just filter to just free and open source stuff for a normal experience, safe from the nuisance of capitalism.

I understand the features of PMC, but it seems like monetized content is becoming dominant on PMC's platform. Even small builds now require payment. This is turning the community into a marketplace. For example, when I scroll through 10 maps, 11 of them are monetized :/

the system usually flags monetised/undownloadable content, and you can filter through them to only find ones with a download link. I do agree though
