The power rings give users to draw energies from the emotions of the wearer or those around them. There are the Red Rings of rage, the Orange Rings of avarice, the Green Rings of will, Blue Rings of hope, Indigo Rings of Compassion, Star Sapphire Rings of love and the Yellow Qwardian Rings of fear. The Qwardian Rings were given to Sinestro after he was kicked out of the Green Lantern Corps. He went on to build his own corps using the rings, who use the emotion of fear to control and terrorize the universe, and now their ally Superman has joined their ranks...

I did this skin because I disliked this theme due to almost every skin just being a personification of an emotion most of which have the generic designs of teen skins. I'm fully aware that compared to these this skin has a far flimsier connection to the theme, but it also also why I disliked this theme. The other themes allowed us to have great variety with our skins, they allowed choose from a wide range of possibilities, and I'm truly sad that we lost much of that this time around.
