Speaking of gaming news, we may have found a little something… are you ready?... you don’t seem ready… PALWORLD IS GETTING A PVP UPDATE!!!


If you don’t know what Palworld is, it is Pokémon but with an open-world survival approach, making it like a life simulator version of Pokémon. Ever since Palworld was released, everyone has called it “Pokémon with guns”.


Now that we know exactly what Palworld is, let's talk about the new update. Pocketpair, the creators of this game, announced that the Pokémon hybrid is about to get a pvp update called “Palworld Arena”.


Pocketpair explained that this update lets you take on other players with the help of your Pokémo- excuse me- Palworld Pals that you captured. They also said that you can train your strongest critters to overcome your rivals and get the W.


From what it looks like, the difference between Palworld and Pokémon is that instead of standing back and telling your Pals what to do, you will have to stand in the thick of the action, trying to take out enemies with a range of weaponry.


For the people who aren’t fans of this turn-based combat, it could be a more active, possibly more compelling spin on Pokémon battles. But in my eyes, it just seems like Pokémon PvP modes with a different coat of paint.


Welp, we will get to find out how alike the two gaming franchises’ takes on PvP are when Pocketpair releases Palworld Arenathis summer.
