What is redstone? 
Redstone is a ore that is found in minecraft, it normally provides 6-8 pieces of redstone per block and comes in pockets of about anywhere in the range of 1-5 ores in a pocket.
What does redstone do?
Redstone is basically like the electrical lines of minecraft, by placing a current of redstone in a line, placing something that can be activated by redstone, and then placing a lever and activating it, you can make the thing (For EX piston) Activate.
What are redstone clocks?
Well a redstone clock is basically were you can hold a current in the redstone power line, there's a blog by DarkCraft that shows you how to make the fastest redstone clock, all it is doing is keeping the current in the command block so it can break and place so fast, that you get the fastest clock in minecraft
What are the limits to redstone?
There are many limits on redstone, like for example a redstone current can only go 16 meters (blocks) and then you have to place a repeater. And also redstone can be broke by water, which is a bad thing if you live near water and your house is basically powered by redstone.
