Oxidize Copper V.2.0.0
Oxidize copper immediately with Thick Potions!
Oxidize copper immediately with Thick Potions!
This pack allow you to quickly oxidize copper blocks using splash or lingering thick potions.
A great utility to facilitate your building.
From MC 1.20 to 1.20.4 (See the Download section for Snapshots or older versions)
Features
What does the data pack brings?
- Lingering/Splash Thick Potions allow you to progressively oxidize all types of copper blocks.
- Waxed blocks will be spared from this effect.
How to use
Just brew Splash or Lingering Thick Potions, and throw them on the copper blocks.
In order to brew Thick Potion, you'll need to put a Glowstone Dust in a brewing station, settling in Water Bottles. Then you can add a Gunpowder or a Dragon Breath to get the final Splash/Lingering Thick Potion.
The splash potion will oxidize blocks in a 3x2x3 area from its impact. Copper blocks will be oxidized gradually depending on their current state (from exposed state to fully oxidized state). Waxed ones will be spared from this effect.
How to install & update?
Please refer to the Planet Minecraft tutorial to know how to install a data pack : How to Install Minecraft Data Packs.

You can download the dedicated version of the data pack I added in the "Other Download Links" section.
It can be due to many reasons:
- A plugin that alters the functioning of vanilla commands, like EssentialsX.
- A plugin that alters the data of potions entities somehow (like the effects array), and make the data pack unable to recognize them.
- Paper itself?
I hope for it to work in 1.19.1
