Would it be better if I kept on making full skins or if I switched more to doing bases of accessories, clothes, etc?

Other than that publishimg something as a 'base' implys permission for others to base works on it, there doesn't seem to be much advantage to not publishing full skins (unless you're finding a lack of interest beyond the specific item).
[The people making skins should all be able to extract an element with minimal difficulty, so the main issue I see is the permission, which could as well be handled with a note in the skin description.]
