Back to the armadillo, it got added a while back do you think its cool?

I know too little about the ingame implentation (which still seems to be a work in progress).
The wkki page conatains notes that:
1) "It is the only source of armadillo scutes, which the armadillo sheds over time, as well as when it is brushed. "
the first part of which I do not recall being covered in any of the announcements. If this is retained in teh final version, armadillo scute farming becomes possible.
2) "It… …repels spiders and cave spiders away from it"
This appears to be new for 1-20-5 and adds another [minor] use to the armadillo as it MAY allow the construction of spider farms similar in principle to the cat-scare creeper farms. [No information is given on the wiki as to range, etc. so whether this will 'pan out' remains to be seen.]
3) The range of biomes in which armadillos spawn is liated as being expanded to include badlands and at least some variants.
