my name Silabear comes from one time when I was 7 years old and the class teacher confused my name with the actual animal, and it's stuck with me ever since. I love bears though! :D

what has your experience as a site mod been like?
it's usually great! i love getting to help people out and do my part in making this site the best place to be, I can give back to the community after what y'all have done for me :) sometimes it s a bit rough dealing with some of the stuff on here, but even so its a nice insight into some goings-on on the internet that I definitely wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

I was nominated by another moderator for being helpful in the Discord server and onsite at a time when we needed moderators. Also, I was generally active in the metacommunity (ie i made a bunch of tools/bug reports/reports, and had been chatting with Cyprezz for a while before that)
