MC Resource Pack Manager

Manage alternative textures, models, sounds, and files!

Introduction

Welcome to the MC Resource Pack Manager (MCRPM or RPM for short). A program designed to allow resource pack users and developers to help manage alternative textures, models, sounds and files within Minecraft resource packs without having to move the files manually.

The program offers two main features:
  • Project Creation/Saving/Editing/Exporting.
  • Resource Pack loading and alternative texture managing.
Please donate if you found this program helpful:

Want to become MCRPM compatible?

Just generate all the files, place them in the root directory of the ZIP file and then add the below image to your submission or forum post and link to this page.
Or if you wish to use your own image, go ahead! Just remember to link to this page so people can use this tool with your resource pack.

Did you make your pack MCRPM compatible? Feel free to send me an email at:

I'll be more than happy to list your pack as being MCRPM compatible.

v1.2 : by Zitzabis 05/22/2016 11:30:47 pmMay 22nd, 2016

v1.1 was silent as it only fixed debug information sent to server and changed address that the help form targetted. This was again changed in v1.2 and now targets https://mcrpm.zitzasoft.com/index.htm.

*****************************************************************************************

Fixed issue of people attempting to select non compatible resource packs. Now presents a dialog and cancels out.

If a user filled a resource, then edited it and removed all alt entries inside it, the Done button would prevent submission. However, closing it via the X would result in errors when refreshing the main view. Fixed it so that if edited and all entries are removed, the entire resource is removed from the system.

Two quick questions regarding this:
-Firstly, if I were to create a resource pack using this (as long as it follows the rules), would I be allowed to try and post it on PMC?
-Second, when you click "create new project," where exactly do you save to? I'm missing it completely somehow xD

The program doesn't actually create a resource pack, it just lets you use existing textures and be able to easily swap between alternative textures.

When you create a new project, you select where you save the project file to. You can put this anywhere but it's best to put it in the root of the resource pack. Where all the other pack information is.

Ah, I understand. Thanks!
Another dumb question of mine (I probably didn't read the help slide properly xD), but how do you tell if an existing resource pack is compatible w/ RPM?

Either they will say they are compatible, or look into the main folder of the resource pack and if you see a .JSON file with "mcrpm" in it's name then it means it's compatible.

Replicate the error if possible and submit a bug report for it. That way the program will send me more information on what line of code broke.
