Ever want internal shaders, but you don't want to wait for Optifine 1.17? Download this resource pack for 1.17 or later!

How it's done:

in some models, there is a parameter called shade. By setting that to false, it uses the new lighting technique.

"shade":"false"

Comment if any bugs are present.

THIS DOES NOT CHANGE LIGHTING OF ENTITIES AND SOME BLOCKS.
CreditInspired by Optifine Mod, but in a texture pack.

Minecraft keeps changing their internal versions for resource and data packs. It's hard for me to keep up when they keep changing them.

Hello, could we please have comparison images so that we can tell the difference?

Here's how I look at this: Otifine internal shaders are still slightly better, in my opinion, but this is the perfect alternative to use while waiting for Optifine shaders to update!

Is there a way to make this apply to blocks that are using custom models from a mod or resource pack?

In original block models, apply parameter > "shade":"false" in elements
